Visit to The Clockworks at West Norwood

14 March 2018

11:00

The Clockworks is a unique studio that combines a museum, workshop, library and meeting space under one roof, all serving the community of people interested in the measurement and distribution of time using electric clocks.

There is a collection of electric clocks maintained in working condition, and a museum-class in-house conservation workshop, able to undertake any work associated with timekeeping artefacts, either electric or not, old or new.

The Clockworks is located in West Norwood, about 2.5 miles from SMEE and about 2 mins walk from West Norwood Station.

The address is 6 Nettlefold Place, SE27 0JW and you can find more details at their web site:

http://theclockworks.org/

Because of space limitations, The Clockworks can only accommodate ten visitors at a time, so there will be two visits on the same day, one at 11:00 and one at 14:00.

To reserve a place please contact Norman Billingham. Indicating whether you have any preference for either time. There will be a charge of £10 as a donation to support the activities of the Clockworks.
