Talk: London’s Lost Terminii
by Tony Riley
What do Spa Road in Bermondsey, Maiden Lane in Camden Town, and Earl Street in the City of London have in common? Did you know there have been two Paddington stations? This fully illustrated talk will recount the story of London’s central area terminal stations that have, over the years and for many different reasons, vanished.
Tony’s lifelong interest in railways has developed from just modelling to being a railway historian who sometimes models. He is a founder member of the South Eastern & Chatham Railway Society and has an extensive collection of photographs of the railways of Kent and SE London.
