Talk: How the Royal Navy Hit ‘em  – The 20^th Century Battleship and its Guns

For generations the capital ships of the RN were its battleships and from the 1900’s the apogee was the ‘all big gun’ battleship.  Alasdair’s talk will illustrate the engineering of this final generation with their guns, mountings, and control systems and their development into the integrated weapons systems they became by 1945.
