Engine Builders Group

At our last meeting we discussed lost wax casting by outside suppliers.  This time we’ll be taking a look at what can be cast in our own workshops and what the  Workshop Group has in mind for 3D printing, metal casting and heat treatment in the Marshall House workshops.  Jim Lugsden will be discussing 2 stroke engine tuning.  Peter Wardropper will be discussing current work on his steam locomotives and starting to look at the challenges of copper boiler making.  We’ll also be discussing the work on the table.

 

As usual, the meeting will be open to distant members wishing to join in on-line and the proceedings will be recorded and made available, together with relevant notes, on the website in due course.
