The Workshop

There is a very well equipped workshop in the basement of Marshall House. It contains a range of lathes and milling machines and a number of machines not normally found in members workshops.

There are a number of tool and cutter sharpening machines, surface grinders, shapers etc. We hope to have a complete list here soon but in the mean time if you need to use a particular machine contact the Workshop Superintendent -  his details are in the Journal.

If you wish to use the workshop for the first time or would like some advice or supervision when using a particular machine please contact the Workshop Superintendent who will be happy to assist you.

Please note you are expected to supply your own materials and (usually) cutting tools.
