 This site will is bound to be of interest to many SMEE members. A great deal of the
information is not currently available elsewhere.

Home Workshop Ads provide a free mechanism to post Sale, Wanted or Information required advertisements.

The British Steam Car Challenge website has details of a project to build a steam car to break the world record for such vehicles. A secondary aim is to explore steam technology and advanced fuels.

The A1 Steam Locomotive Trust website has details of a project to build a Peppercorn class A1 Pacific locomotive from scratch. The project is now at an advanced stage and it is hoped that the locomotive will be ready for mainline service in September 2008.

Still on the drawing board the 5AT Project aims to build a mainline steam locomotive to a brand new design using developments in design and materials that have become available since steam locomotives went out of general use.
